Simchat Torah
We begin our fall holidays with reflection and awe, and we end them with joy! The holiday of Simchat Torah, (rejoicing in the Torah) is the last of the holidays in this season. As we have made our way through Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot, we have had the opportunity to hear about stories that have shaped our experiences as a people. At Simchat Torah we can share these stories with our children, connecting them to our ancestors and to the Jewish community. There are great resources for finding Jewish books for young children. We invite you to share your favorite Jewish children’s book with us!
Below are some book resources for you
